Christopher Feeley

CEO and Managing Partner

Over his 30 + year career in commercial and multifamily real estate, Mr. Feeley has acquired, managed, underwritten, developed, invested in, or was the lender on more than $7 billion of commercial and multifamily properties primarily located along the East Coast and Southwestern US.

Mr. Feeley has returned to his position as Managing Partner and Principal of MultiVersity Housing Partners (“MVHP”). Prior to his return to MVHP, Mr. Feeley was the President and Partner of Campus First Student Living. While leading Campus First for 3 years, Mr. Feeley completed 7 student acquisitions with a total capitalized value of $300 million. Mr. Feeley also secured 2 third party management assignments for the Company. He was responsible for numerous initiatives, and grew the Property Management and Asset Management Divisions of Campus First. This included the hiring of corporate and on-site property staff. Prior to Campus First, Mr. Feeley was the Managing Partner and Principal of MVHP for 7 years, acquiring over $1 billion of multifamily real estate. In addition, Mr. Feeley has held positions with such prestigious institutions as Legg Mason Real Estate (now NorthMarq Capital), GE Capital Real Estate, USF&G Real Estate, Bank of America (formerly MNB/ASB Banks), and PaineWebber Mortgage Finance.

Mr. Feeley also has prior experience as a legislative Assistant for the US Senate Committee on Governmental Affairs (for Senator William Roth of Delaware), and the Governor of the State of Delaware (Gov. Michael Castle). Mr. Feeley is a member of the National Multi-Housing Council and the Pension Real Estate Associations (“PREA”).

Anthony Magnelli

Principal, Asset Management and Operations

Over his 15 year career in multifamily property management, Mr. Magnelli has been responsible for overseeing over $1 Billion in multifamily assets (both student housing and market rate apartments). Mr. Magnelli spent 5+ years as Sr. Regional of a National Student Housing Company. Mr. Magnelli oversaw asset and property management for student housing properties located throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern U.S. These properties have a total asset value of $400 million. In addition, Mr. Magnelli supervised and managed the renovation of most of these properties. Average occupancy of his property portfolio was 98%+, delinquency at an average of under 1.4% and NOI ranked at the top of the overall portfolio. During his time at the company, Mr. Magnelli received numerous awards recognizing his contributions.

Mr. Magnelli has extensive expertise in budgeting, due diligence/acquisitions, training, revenue management, renovation management and operations oversight. Mr. Magnelli spent 3 years leading acquisitions, business development and provided close Asset Management for an entire student housing portfolio.

Mr. Magnelli has assisted in property acquisitions, closing and securing equity for over $500 Million in acquisitions from 2016 thru present and helps secure third party business.

In his current role as Principal at MultiVersity Housing Partners Mr. Magnelli assists with acquisitions and Asset and Property Management oversight.

Kristen Ostach

SVP of Acquisitions and Investments

Kristen Ostach has a combined 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate and asset management. Prior to joining MultiVersity Housing Partners, she worked as an analyst for a commercial real estate brokerage firm in New York City. While there, she was responsible for providing sales and research support for the company’s investment sales and capital services professionals. In this role, Kristen underwrote multifamily assets to determine risk and potential return. She has evaluated investment opportunities throughout New York City averaged between $2-$50 million. In addition to multifamily assets, Kristen has experience in underwriting all asset classes including mixed-use, multifamily, industrial, retail, and development.

Kristen received a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Fordham University. After Fordham, Kristen transferred to Indiana University, where she received a Master’s in Strategic Management and a Master’s in Business Administration.

Kristen is a VP of Financial Analysis and Capital Formation on the acquisitions team at MultiVersity Housing Partners. In this position, she will analyze the operational performance of investment properties and construct cash flow models to assist in evaluating acquisition opportunities.

Gopal Nepali

Company Controller

Gopal came to the US in 2007 from Nepal to study at La Roche University and graduated with an Accounting and Finance degree in 2011. He then went on to further his education by earning an MBA with concentration in Finance from Duquesne University in 2014.

Gopal has 10+ years of accounting/controller experience in Residential and market rate Housing, LIHTC, Mixed-Income Housing, Commercial Real Estate and real estate development. He is passionate about Accounting and Finance and enjoys implementing skills, knowledge, and experience in the real estate industry.

In his current role as Company Controller, he oversees the Accounting, Tax filing and financial reporting functions of the management division of the company. Gopal plays a critical role by helping MVPM, LLC serve its residents and communities. He is responsible for guiding the accounting policies and practices of the organization, implementing systems and practices that advance MVPM’s operation priorities, and leading the finance department in creating accurate and timely financial records for the organization.

Jordan Kapsar

Executive Area Manager

Over his 5+ years in student housing and property management, Jordan has held various positions ranging from Leasing Manager to Property Manager. Jordan’s experience ranges from smaller Division 3 schools to large Division 1 universities in both urban and rural markets. During the course of his career, he has achieved success in several markets across the North and South East. In Jordan’s current role as Area Property Manager, he is responsible for overseeing 700+ beds across Western Pennsylvania and assisting MultiVersity with due diligence and property takeovers. His current assets boast an average occupancy of 97% and 5% + year-over-year NOI growth. Because of his extensive background in leasing and property operations, Jordan assists with new manager training and support as needed across the MVHP portfolio.

Ashley Crawford

Executive Area Manager

Throughout her 10-year career in Property Management, Ashley has experience in all aspects of the industry. Ashley began her career in multi-family conventional housing as a Leasing Agent and developed a talent for Property Management. Ashley has worked in all areas of Property Management from purpose-built student housing to luxury high rises. She was recognized for her efforts in leasing and delinquency and was promoted through the ranks, gaining experience in the Atlanta GA and Tampa FL markets before joining the MultiVersity Housing Partners team.

In her current role as Executive Area Manager (Southeast and Midwest), Ashley is responsible for all day-to-day operations for the growing Southeast portfolio. Ashley has become an integral part within the due diligence and acquisition teams as well as a key member of the corporate team. Ashley has been effective in creating a solid leasing and operations team in her property driving leasing efforts to have an average of 8% ahead year-over-year delta and an average delinquency of below 2%. Because of her extensive background in student and multifamily housing, Ashley is an excellent resource for existing and new managers throughout the company.

Charles Brace

Corporate Graphic Design and Marketing

Throughout his career in student housing, Charles has gained a variety of experience in a collection of locations. He has Implemented and successfully executed various large scale on property events, as well as overseeing property leasing operations. Charles has created resident content, promotions, and advertisements aimed at current and prospect residents.

In his current role of Corporate Graphic Designer and Marketing, Charles envisions, designs, and promotes personally created content for the collection of MVHP properties. Charles adheres to the mission of MVHP to become the recognized leader in its targeted markets for property management services.

Alexandra Liston

Operations Specialist

Alexandra has held multiple positions in the apartment industry ranging from Leasing and Marketing to Business Manager and most recently Property Manager of a 600+ bed student housing property. Alexandra has also been involved in property takeovers and training during her time with MVPM. She has exceptional operational skills including financials, implementing policies/procedures and staff development.

In her new role as Operations Specialist, Alexandra will be an integral component for both current and future acquisitions. Alexandra’s knowledge of all things Property Management makes her an obvious choice to assist with leasing, marketing, budgeting, collections, turn-over, etc. Alexandra is a member of MVPM’s due diligence and acquisition teams. She provides best in class training and guidance that will help continue to grow MVPM further in the Property Management industry. Alexandra graduated from Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice.
